Meet The Doctor

Lee R. Cohen, D.D.S., M.S., M.S.

Lee R. Cohen, D.D.S., M.S., M.S., is a Dual Board Certified Periodontal and Dental Implant Surgeon. He is a graduate of Emory University and New York University College of Dentistry.

Dr. Cohen completed his surgical training at the University of Florida / Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. He served as Chief Resident and currently holds a staff appointment as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontics and Dental Implantology. Dr. Cohen lectures, teaches, and performs clinical research on topics related to his surgical specialty.

Dr. Cohen is a genuinely awesome person, and he really prioritizes patient comfort. I’d love to elaborate about my actual surgery, but don’t remember much honestly. It was pain free and went by like a breeze, and a week out I don’t think I felt much pain at all. I’ve got to say, this was one of the easiest procedures I ever had in my life as far as dental work goes. Even easier than getting my teeth cleaned! . Dr. Cohen and his staff are excellent and made me feel very comfortable. They explained everything in detail and left no loose ends. I had absolutely no discomfort, no pain, no bruising or bleeding (this is very rare for me!), and very little swelling on which I used ice packs the first day. If you are considering this procedure, LANAP, please don’t be the least bit hesitant. In my opinion, it was a piece of cake!!! Thank You, Dr. Cohen and Staff, for all you did for me!!
